What they are, why they are important and how to optimize customer journeys through behavioral economics.  The customer journey map is a tool that helps marketers to understand the series of connected experiences that customers desire and need — whether that be completing a desired task or traversing the end-to-end journey from prospect to customer to loyal advocate. In this episode, we explored a simple framework for developing a customer journey map including establishing goals, conducting market research and taking inventory of your resources.
